Policies & Shipping
Unfortunately due to lags in the delivery process brought on by the current pandemic, we are currently only able to ship live plants to provinces on the eastern side of Canada (This includes Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island). Sorry for the inconvenience.
We ship all orders the following Monday after they are placed to avoid plants getting stuck in postage over the weekend unnecessarily. Orders must be placed by 4pm on Sunday to be guaranteed to ship the next day. The exception to this are local deliveries within the Greater Toronto Area which occur the following Saturday provided they are placed by 4pm on Friday.
We currently offer shipping services by Canada Post, FedEx, and local delivery within the Greater Toronto Area. We offer various delivery times and methods (Including pick up and door delivery) to fit all your needs. Rates are automatically calculated at check out based on your location.
Delivery - Only Orders Within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
Orders placed for delivery within the GTA (Including the Cities of Toronto, Mississauga, Markham, and Pickering) are eligible for a $10.00 flat local delivery rate with a minimum purchase of $40.00. Plants delivered in this way are covered by our DOA policy provided we receive photographic proof of DOA plant within 24 hours of delivery. GTA local deliveries are contactless and happen the following Saturday after the order is placed. Please ensure you include all relevant information necessary for delivery including unit numbers, buzzer numbers, or specific instructions.
Please contact us directly through the contact page or by email to email@example.com to arrange a pick up order. We are located in the vicinity of the Highway 401 and Don Valley Parkway intersection in Toronto, Ontario.
Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy
In the unlikely event that a plant arrives to you DOA, please send us a photo of the plant within 12 hours of receiving it in the mail still in its original packaging and we will issue a refund. This guarantee only applies to FedEx and local delivery shipping options. While we still offer Canada Post for many locations, using this option is at your own risk and our DOA policy will not apply given delays brought on by the current pandemic.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of shipping aquatic plants we are unable to receive returns, however if the plant you receive is not to your satisfaction, please contact us and we can discuss a solution. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Between November and March, all orders will be shipped in insulated packaging with a biodegradable heat pack free of charge. We may need to hold shipments if it is colder than -20 degrees Celsius as this could significantly lower their chance of survival. In the event this happens, we will contact you to let you know of any changes in your delivery time.
